Making a Purchase

Simply browse through the shop, select any items you wish to order, and proceed to the checkout. You may pay by credit card via the secure server. The item will appear on your statement under the merchant name "Dream Costumes Ltd". In the case of non-UK orders, your credit card company will convert the sterling amount into your own currency at the rate prevailing under their own terms and conditions. When viewing the contents of your shopping cart, you will see a mini cart summary at the foot of the page, together with a link which will enable you to get an instant price conversion into your own currency. Please note that this should be used as a guide only - what you will actually pay depends on the exchange rate applied by your own card company.
Payment Options
You may also pay by sterling cheque drawn on a UK high street bank. Cheques should be made payable to "Dream Costumes Ltd". Orders paid for by personal cheque will be despatched once the cheque has cleared (usually 4-5 days). If you do not wish to use your credit card online, you are welcome to call us on +44 (0)845 644 2822 and give us your credit card details over the phone.
Shipping & Handling
During the promotion period for Tooth, orders are being shipped within 28 days of receipt of payment. Please contact us for more urgent requirements. We anticipate reverting to our normal 14 day delivery time after the Tooth promotions end. Shipping is charged as set out in the table below. Our policy is to avoid overcharging customers for shipping, and so where an order with a value of £150.00 or more has been placed for delivery outside the UK, we will contact you by email with the exact shipping cost for your order. The email will include a link to a page on our site where you will be able to pay the shipping charge automatically online. Shipping charges must be paid prior to despatch.

Import Duties
Overseas customers only: import duties vary worldwide depending on each country's importation legislation. It is the customer's responsibility to discover what, if any, import duties their order may be subject to, and the liability for import duties resides solely with the customer.
Guarantee
We guarantee to refund or replace faulty items, and we will refund any shipping charges incurred in returning any faulty merchandise, on condition that you have contacted us prior to returning the faulty item to obtain shipping instructions. If you are simply not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will issue a refund or an exchange if the item is returned in new, unworn, unused and resaleable condition within 30 days of receipt. Amis Kennedy go-karts are specifically excluded from this clause, as are any items provided on a bespoke basis (e.g. bespoke garden play houses). We will not pay for return shipping unless the item is faulty. Items returned for any other reason other than faulty merchandise must be returned with all original packaging and labels intact. Please take care when trying on any item of clothing, so as to preserve the original packaging. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Back Orders
Orders are shipped within 3 working days of purchase. Some items may take longer than this, and these are clearly marked in the full product description. Occasionally, an item may be out of stock and we may not be able to ship it within the normal 3 days. If this happens, we will advise you immediately and back-order the items for you. You have the right to cancel an order for any items which, in your view, are on an unacceptably long lead time. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Refund Policy (see also Guarantee above)
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we will refund the purchase price in full, provided that (a) the item(s) are returned within 30 days of receipt, and (b) the item(s) are returned in new, unworn, unused and resaleable condition and with all original packaging and labelling intact. Please note that items are returned at the sender's cost and risk and we advise you to return the items via a traceable service. Under current EU regulations, you have the right to cancel your order in any case within seven days of creating the contract with dream..., or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you cancel your order before the goods are despatched, your money will be refunded immediately.
Complaints Procedure
Should you have any concerns or complaints, please address them in the first instance to Donna McDonald, at any of the contact details below. You will receive an immediate acknowledgement of receipt, and at least a preliminary response within 2 working days. Our preliminary response will, at the very least, provide a detailed plan and timescale for dealing with the matter you have raised. In most cases, we anticipate resolving any issue within 2 days of receipt of your communication. All concerns and complaints will be treated personally, confidentially and seriously. Your satisfaction with the service you have received from dream... is of paramount importance to us, and we welcome your comments.
